WHO ARE WE?
Challenge Community Church is an active and contemporary evangelical church based in the South Wye area of Hereford City. We meet every Sunday at 10.30am to worship Jesus, listen to a talk from the Bible, and to catch up with one another.
Our mission statement simply says that our goal “is to bring people to Jesus, and equip them for service in His world.” We believe that God made us, and that life is not complete until we discover Him and His purposes for our lives.
We believe that God wants a relationship with each of us. This is possible through his Son Jesus, who lived a perfect life (something none of us can do) and died on a cross to take away our sins. He conquered death by rising from the dead, and is Lord of all.
Many who come to Challenge each week have discovered this to be true by personal experience. Others come because they enjoy the friendship, the relaxed style of our services, or because they are searching for the truth.
Join us any Sunday at 10.30am and find out why people keep coming back week by week.
We also have a variety of groups that meet each week, where we deepen our friendships and discover more about God’s plan for us from the Bible which we believe is God’s Word for all people.
You are welcome to come and join us for any of our activities.
If you want to find out more about Jesus, Challenge Community Church or the Christian faith, or if you are visiting the area and want to worship with us, we would love to see you.
We are members of the Evangelical Alliance and have strong links with "Partnership", Gospel Literature Outreach, Counties and Echoes of Service.
We have strong links and work closely with all the major evangelical churches in Hereford.
Our statement of faith is that of the Evangelical Alliance. More details of our beliefs and practises can be found on this website.
